Parties, showcases and trips
Dancing with us is more than a lesson a week. Through the year we host guest parties on our own floor, student showcases where you perform what you have been working on, excursions and trips away, and community gatherings that bring everyone at the studio together. They are the part of dancing where you make friends, watch performances that make you want to get better, and put your dancing to work somewhere other than the practice floor.

Our showcase: Travel Around the World
Our last published showcase, Travel Around the World, was held on Saturday 20 June 2026 at the Crystal Ballroom Lake Mary, 720 Currency Circle, from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The dress code was formal black and white. Tickets were $89 at the early-bird price before 30 April and $99 from 1 May.

What to expect on a showcase day
This was the programme for Travel Around the World, and it is how a showcase day at VM Ballroom runs.

Formal Black & White
The dress code for the day, for dancers and for guests.
$89 early bird, $99 after
$89 before April 30th and $99 from May 1st. Prices for our next showcase will be confirmed when the date is set.
Parties on our own floor
Practice parties, guest parties and community gatherings run at the studio through the year — our April calendar carried an Armenian Picnic and a Goat Yoga morning alongside the classes. You do not need a partner and you do not need to be an advanced dancer; everyone at the studio is welcome, and so are your family and friends.

We also travel. Trips and excursions take our students somewhere new to dance, and our own ballroom can be hired for your event when you need a floor of your own.
